Our seasoning received Chile Pepper Magazine's Golden Pepper Award - 2005 in the Fiery Food Challenge contest. It has the "taste of New Orleans"-not quite as hot as Cajun but certainly with a kick! Pops originally designed the seasoning for a New Orleans food manufacturer as a Creole-type flavor. It was so well received industrially that Pops decided to sell it in a very distinctive retail package to gourmet stores and gift shops along Mississippi's West Coast.
